Community Intake/Program Support
This is the first contact point to the House of Sophrosyne programs. Our clients may be referred to us by another agency, by a health care professional, or self-referred. A specific Intake process is completed to determine the needs of the client and to seek which program(s) is suitable.
Our Pre-Treatment Program assists in stabilizing and better preparing women who are awaiting admission into any program center in Ontario. Counselling and support are geared to the unique needs of the individual woman.
Aftercare
A support program for graduates of any treatment program in Ontario, Aftercare assists in establishing the support networks necessary for continued recovery. This includes individual and group counselling.*

Children's Program
A safe place for children, up to 13 years of age, to express their feelings, concerns and questions, while learning about addictions.* |

For Adult Family Members and Family Members
Family & Friends
An educational support group for family members and friends of chemically dependent women.
Individual & Family Counselling
A Counselor is also available for clients who are not in need of our Residential Programs.* |

Caring Connections
Caring Connections is a community based project with staff experienced in assisting women with substance abuse issues and their children.* |
C.A.R.E.Program
Through this program, persons with children have equal access to services and 12-step fellowships which are vital in their recovery process. Care is available on-site for children 0-12 years.*
Alumnae Group
House graduates and residents come together as a group to share concerns and offer support in a confidential setting.* |
