Located on a quiet street in Windsor the House of Sophrosyne is a unique A-frame building that is both charming and comforting.  This former church has a special feel for the women who come here and is often referred to as the place "where miracles happen".  The outdoor patio is situated in a beautiful location adjacent to a picturesque city park.  It is an area where women, past, present and future will come together to share memories or reflect on their journey of recovery.

You will share accommodations in rooms of two or four beds.  An atmosphere of communal living helps women in residence bond together and strengthens them through their mutual support in the struggle to recover.  The rooms are equipped with comfortable beds, fluffy comforters and all the amenities of home.  The rooms provide a quiet spot to relax and regroup throughout the twenty-one day residential treatment program.

You will never go hungry at the House of Sophrosyne!  We serve a large repertoire of mouth watering creations that will stimulate even the most discriminating appetite.  Our food is of the highest quality and we are proud of every meal we serve.  We offer well rounded main dishes and snacks with a focus on flavour and nutrition.  We are always prepared to accommodate individuals with special needs based on dietary restrictions or personal beliefs.
